How To Get Fat Without Really Trying - This outstanding documentary from the late Peter Jennings (famous reporter) first aired in 2003. Despite its age, is surprisingly not at all dated and is essential viewing for those wanting to get informed and healthier. It’s astonishing and commendable that ABC would air something so overwhelmingly critical of an industry that’s one of its primary advertising sponsors!
Healing Through Diet - Dr. Dean Ornish (world-renown, award-winning scientist) insists that “your body has a remarkable capacity to begin healing itself, if you give it a chance to do so.” His is the ONLY scientifically proven (1995) DIET for prevention/reversal of the #1 killer, heart disease (which also works for many-a-chronic disease). Come learn, be inspired, get smarter and healthier. It’s actually EASY!
The Shocking Truth About An Uneducated Culture - Dr. Garth Davis (noted bariatric surgeon) gives his advice regarding plant-based diets vs surgery for BEST weight loss and health. “We can learn from other plant-based cultures to understand how our cultural obsession with meat is killing us and to capture the message that we can turn our lives around at any age.”
Un-Junk Yourself - Dr. David Katz (director of Yale University Prevention Research Center; president of American College of Lifestyle Medicine; and editor-in-chief of Childhood Obesity) cleverly and artistically offers hope to curb obesity and sickness, encouraging all to learn to “Love the foods that LOVE you back.” This is a ‘gotta-see-it-to-believe-it’ saaweet short-short that will make your night!

Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014) is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following intrepid filmmaker Kip Andersen as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it.
Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, water consumption and pollution, is responsible for more greenhouse gases than the transportation industry, and is a primary driver of rainforest destruction, species extinction, habitat loss, topsoil erosion, ocean “dead zones,” and virtually every other environmental ill. Yet it goes on, almost entirely unchallenged.
As Andersen approaches leaders in the environmental movement, he increasingly uncovers what appears to be an intentional refusal to discuss the issue of animal agriculture, while industry whistleblowers and watchdogs warn him of the risks to his freedom and even his life if he dares to persist.
As eye-opening as Blackfish and as inspiring as An Inconvenient Truth, this shocking yet humorous documentary reveals the absolutely devastating environmental impact large-scale factory farming has on our planet, and offers a path to global sustainability for a growing population. Learn why eating a plant-based diet is best for all living on this beautiful planet.

Forks Over Knives (2011) is an film that examines a profound claim that food is medicine! The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, and their groundbreaking studies that brought them to meet each other.
Their research led them separately to the startling and now shared conclusion: degenerative diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and even several forms of cancer, could almost always be prevented—and in many cases reversed—by adopting a whole-foods, plant-based diet. Despite the profound implications of their findings, their work has remained relatively unknown to the public... until now.
The filmmakers travel with Drs. Campbell and Esselstyn on their separate but similar paths, from their childhood farms where they both produced “nature’s perfect food”; to China and Cleveland, where they explored ideas that challenged the established thinking and shook their own core beliefs.
The idea of food as medicine is put to the test. Throughout the film, cameras follow ‘reality patients’ who have chronic conditions from heart disease to diabetes. Doctors teach these patients how to adopt a whole-food, plant-based diet as the primary approach to treat their ailments—while the challenges and triumphs of their journeys are revealed.
Forks Over Knives utilizes state of the art 3-D graphics and rare archival footage. The film features numerous leading experts on health, examines the question “why we don’t know,” and tackles the issue of diet and disease in a way that will have people talking for years.
