This raw and naturally-sweetened caramel sauce pairs perfectly with fresh, organic apple slices and is made with fiber-rich Medjool dates.
- 1 pound Medjool dates
- 6 Tablespoons non-dairy milk
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons tahini, cashew butter, or other nut butter
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Blend all ingredients in food processor until smooth. If dates are hard, soak them in hot water for 10-15 minutes before blending. Serve with apple slices for dipping sauce.Recipes Home
