Broiled Peaches with Maple Cream 22 June, 2017 | Stone Fruit

  • 6 ripe peaches, halved, pits removed
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Coarse salt
  • 1 cup crème fraiche (or sour cream)
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup


Preheat oven to low broil. Lay peach halves skin side down on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt across the pieces. Broil in oven on the top rack, 3-5 minutes or until fruit begins to brown. 

Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, combine crème fraîche (or sour cream) and maple syrup together. Drizzle maple mixture over warm peaches and serve.
